Urban Sketchers Committee promotes the art of urban sketching in Southern Nevada among architects and the broader community. Urban sketching is the art of drawing on location and capturing the life and culture of places. It fosters a sense of observation, creativity, and community among sketchers.
Goals:
- Organize regular sketching outings and events for members and non-members to explore and document various locations in Las Vegas and beyond
- Share and showcase urban sketches through social media platforms, exhibitions, publications, etc.
- Encourage and support urban sketchers of all skill levels and backgrounds to participate and improve their sketching abilities
