The Education Outreach Committee promotes architecture education and awareness among students, teachers, parents, and the general public. It organizes various programs and events that expose students to architecture as a career option and inspire them to pursue their creative potential.
Goals:
- Host the annual AIA Las Vegas High School Design Awards that recognize student achievements in architectural design
- Provide opportunities learning opportunities for students and teachers to learn about architecture and design at different life stages
- Organize outreach programs in K-12 to promote architecture and design education through participation in career days and other youth outreach activities
