The Placemaking Committee focuses on best practices for creating vibrant and high quality places where people can work, live, and play.

With a people-centered approach, the committee aims to accelerate placemaking as a way to create a thriving, sustainable, healthy, resilient, and inclusive community in Southern Nevada while fostering a new kind of triple bottom line: People, Profit, Planet. promotes

We are placemakers, and we build places people love.

Goals:

  • Educate design and development professionals on current trends, research, and best practices related to improving the built environment
  • Advocate for policies that empower design and development professionals to create more energy efficient, healthy, resilient, and sustainable buildings and communities
  • Be engaged in the community and build trust between design professionals and community members
