Canstruction 2017
Share |

The CANStruction® competition came back this year.

It was organized by Travis Allen, Assoc. AIA, Chair of the AIA Las Vegas Emerging Professionals Committee.

This challenging design competition provided a way for architects, associates, engineers and others

to collaborate on the design and construction of a structure made entirely out of full cans of food……

and at the same time, provide a great benefit to Three Square Food Bank in a big way.

The entries were juried by

John Courtney, Culinary Director for the Simon Hospitality Group,

Joyen Vakil, AIA, Senior Vice President of Design and Development for MGM Resorts International and

Ron Frye, Vice President of Design and Construction for Boyd Gaming Corporation.

The Recipients were announced at the Reception on April 3rd.  Our Entries were as follows.
