DESCRIPTION:Join AIA Las Vegas Placemaking Committee\, in collaboration with our community partners\, for a tree planting event on Arbor Day April 26th at Zion Urban Farms Community Garden in North Las Vegas. \n\nVolunteers are needed for two 4-hour shifts: 8AM-12PM and 12PM-4PM. More than 25 volunteers are required for each shift to ensure the successful planting of trees that will benefit the community for years to come. Participants are encouraged to bring gardening gloves and wear comfortable attire suitable for outdoor activities. DESCRIPTION:Join us on Saturday\, April 13th at 10 AM for an Urban Sketchers event at the Red Rock Overlook! \nRed Rock Overlook provides panoramic views over the red sandstone landscape set against the bright blue skies. The area features a one-mile loop trail that allows you to walk around and take in the breathtaking scenery. \nAll skill levels are welcome. Please bring your own drawing supplies along with sun protection\, something to sit on\, and water.
