"Where Do We Go From Here?"

A Post Pandemic Virtual Design Charrette

COVID-19 has forced the world to stop as we know it, including the city of Las Vegas.
So, WHERE DO WE GO FROM HERE?  AIA Las Vegas answers that question by providing a 2-Part Virtual Post Pandemic Design Charrette.

 Part 1 will be held on Thursday, September 10th – 9:00am - 12:00pm - Initial Meeting / Design Challenge/ Organize Teams
Teams work on solutions until…
Part 2 on Thursday, September 24th – 9:00am - 12:00pm - Final presentations from each team (You Do Not Have To Be On A Charrette Team To Attend the Results Presentation.  Go Ahead and Register.)

We are inviting The Design Community, Students, Professors and Public Health Educators to explore creative solutions that will reflect design changes that can be made to our built environment to ensure residents and tourists feel safe and healthy.

Organize Your Charrette Team – from your firm, your friends, your community, your organization, and join us for “Where Do We Go From Here” a virtual charrette. Public Health experts will be assigned to work with each team to help inform and enrich the discussions. For individuals who want to participate but are not already members of a team, we’ll find a team for you! After the initial meeting, Teams will work on their own meeting virtually. Each team’s final ideas and solutions will be presented at the final meeting.

Results of the Charrette will be shared with City and County officials, Hotel, Casinos and Entertainment Venue owners. Current result reviewers include: Caesar’s Palace, Clark County - Departments of Building & Fire Prevention, Marriott International, Grand Canyon Development Partners and more to be announced!
