March Membership Meeting

“What Are We Doing In Nevada To Combat Climate Change?”  A Panel Discussion

Actually, we are doing quite a lot in our state.

Plan to attend the Virtual August Member Meeting on Wednesday, August 19, and you’ll hear from state and local officials

who are leading the way in carbon reduction and sustainability.

We’ve RE-invited our panelists from our cancelled March Membership Meeting, which include Jennifer Taylor, Deputy Director, Governor’s Office of Energy; Clark County Commissioner Justin Jones; Marco Valotta, AICP, Planner at City of Las Vegas; and Kristen Averyt, Climate Change Policy at State of Nevada, and Research Professor at UNLV.  We have also invited Senator Chris Brooks.  This panel with share their ideas, active programs and information on this vital issue in a panel discussion moderated by Lance Kirk, AIA, President of AIA Las Vegas.  You’ll get the whole story and what’s happening in our city, county and state and what it means for architects and your projects.

RSVP now…. The meeting begins online at 5:30 pm.

There is no charge to attend this program.
This program is registered for 1.5 HSW CELU's.
