Chapter’s most important programs. It
recognizes and rewards young design talent at
the high school level and has been the first career
step for many young people in becoming design
professionals. Sponsor contributions of $500,
$1,000 or more, go toward providing cash awards
for the winners of the High School Design
Competition. The goal each year is to raise a
minimum of $5,000 to provide the awards. The
Awards are presented at a special meeting in the
Spring and Sponsors are recognized at the
beginning of the program and thanked for their
contributions. Sponsors also receive recognition
in the monthly newsletter and in all media
releases.

company, product and service to the architectural
community. It is our most popular event and“sells out” quickly each year. Host, Event, Tee

Continuing Education Programs
Each year, in order to maintain their membership
in AIA, member Architects are required to attain
18 AIA Continuing Education credits, of which 8
hours must be in Health, Safety and Welfare. (It is
expected that soon this will be a state
requirement for maintaining licensure as well.)
AIA Las Vegas partners with companies such as
yours to provide educational opportunities for our
members. The content of these programs must
be educational and must meet the AIA
requirements for C.E. registration. You host the
meeting, seminar, breakfast or luncheon and
provide the educational program - we register the
program for AIA C.E. Credits, promote the
opportunity to our members, and make sure our
members receive their credits. Hosting a C.E.
program provides great visibility for your firm and
identifies you as a leader in your industry. You
receive special recognition in the newsletter and
promotional materials for the event.
