2018 "Architecture for Everyone"

Architects share a vision of creating a better world through design.  It is this desire to improve the built environment that motivates and inspires young men and women to enter the profession and to use their talents to change their world and their communities for the better through their work.   In short, it is the idea of providing “Architecture for Everyone”.

For 2018, the AIA Las Vegas Chapter has adopted the theme of “Architecture for Everyone” in order to build upon the progress of the previous years and to provide the programs and services that continue to reach out to elementary, middle and high school students to inform and involve them in architecture; to encourage, support, mentor and guide architecture students at the UNLV School of Architecture; and to engage affiliated organizations and the public in order to enhance their understanding and appreciation of architecture, quality design and sustainability.

Architecture for Everyone…. Means a concentrated effort to engage our members and our committee members and charge them with providing opportunities that will awaken and enhance the public’s interest and appreciation for quality architecture in their community, as well as demonstrating that architecture is for everyone.
